LIFE

Life. It is so precious. It seems that in the blink of an eye it can be all over. It is so easy to take for granted; the fact that you even got up in the morning is a miracle in itself. Tonight, we had a guy in the ER who came in with a heart attack, his heart was so badly damaged that it essentially stopped working. If he had been anywhere but in the ER at that time, he would have been dead within minutes. We were able to revive him and hopefully he will live to see another day.  There has also been the tragic death of one of my co-worker's son. He was killed in a car accident. We should appreciate our lives and our loved ones more. We never know what tomorrow, or even the next hour will bring. Kiss your babies, hug your mamma and daddy, and tell everyone you know that you love them.
